Customer Service Representative - Part Time - Part Time
This position is part time with hours starting around 1:00 pm but working until 5:00 pm. Potential to be full time in the summer months.
Summary: Responsible answers incoming customer calls and enters data in computer software for new orders and pickups. Provides assistance and support to dispatching, as well as other administrative functions that happen in a small office environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Primary function is providing quality customer service to current and potential clients. Answer incoming calls and accurately collects and enters all necessary customer data into computer system in order for dispatch to schedule driver pick-up and delivery.
Monitors customer service email box. Replies to customer inquiries and requests to place an order.
Provides backup assistance and support to dispatching duties including; coordinates the dispatch of roll-off trucks for container pickup and delivery.
Requests permits from city per contractor’s request for box placement. Keeps permit on file at corporate office.
Utilizes TRUX software to run box inventory reports on a weekly basis. Calls current customers to schedule pick-up time or continued rental of disposal box.
Assists dispatch in “closing out” drivers deliveries in TRUX software, once box placement is completed.
Assists in dispersing incoming and outgoing mail daily to appropriate personnel.
Assists in the completion of new hire orientation as needed.
Requirements & Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED and two plus years of related customer service experience.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Communicates effectively with customers.
Ability to read, comprehend and act on simple instructions. Ability to calculate basic math, figures and amounts.
Attention to detail and multitask is critical.
Seldom lifts and or moves up to 10 pounds.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test for employment.
